Ust-Labinsk Lyceum Educational Institution

Investor: OOO Obrazovatelnaya Infrastruktura (Educational Infrastructure) Project implementation year: 2022 In 2017, the Ust-Labinsk district administration and OOO Obrazovatelnaya Infrastruktura signed an agreement to cooperate on an investment project: the construction of the Ust-Labinsk Lyceum within the district’s territory.
As part of the implementation of the investment project mentioned above, the First N.I. Lobachevsky University Lyceum was opened in Ust-Labinsk in 2022.
The First Lobachevsky, an MSU branch in Ust-Labinsk, consists of three buildings: a four-story academic building, a dormitory, and a fitness and health center. These buildings are interconnected by enclosed walkways. The total area of the main building is approximately 27,000 square meters, excluding external structures.
The main members of the teaching team are graduates and practicing teachers at MSU.
Students in 7th to 11th grade can attend this school for free. There is also a campus available for 200 students from other cities, as the lyceum can accommodate up to 475 students. Graduates will not only receive a high school diploma but will also be prepared to enroll in university science programs.
The infrastructure comprises a spacious outdoor stadium, a small football field, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, running tracks, as well as shelters for yoga and martial arts. Overall, the area covers 4.5 hectares.
The educational institution, where talented children from across the country study, was established with the assistance of Oleg Deripaska’s Volnoe Delo Foundation.
Three billion rubles were invested in constructing and equipping the lyceum. The facility now boasts modern equipment, including educational and IT labs, language labs, a two-story library, an assembly hall, as well as chemical, biological, physical, and multimedia labs. These labs are fully equipped for conducting experiments.
For the comprehensive development of children, extra education is provided through artistic and socio-pedagogical activities. This includes a dance studio with ballet equipment, an art studio for teaching drawing, design, and architecture, a media school, a theater school, an orchestra, a chess club, and an English conversation club.
The lyceum offers a welcoming environment that is accessible to all children, including those with disabilities, for their education and development.
